Zelenskyy Visits Troops Close to Heavily Contested Pokrovsk Area
The head of state made a trip to meet with national troops in the eastern front on the weekday. The president confirmed that he met with soldiers at the military base of the 1st Corps of the state defense force Azov, which is managing protective maneuvers in the Dobropillya sector, a town approximately 20km from the focal point.
Critical Situation in the Area
Geospatial data from a local initiative revealed that opposition armies had advanced deeper into Pokrovsk and nearby locations, though much of it was not fully held by either side. The situation remains critical, with reports indicating that Russian forces were establishing defenses and enhancing fortifications in various sectors.
Russian forces continue to advance in the Pokrovsk sector and are reportedly acting with growing ease within the city proper.
Analysts observed that defense units had liberated a significant portion of a opposition incursion in the Dobropillya direction, on the eastern flank of the Pokrovsk operation.
